KKR won the toss, elected to bowl and got off to a dream start. With 37/3, Mumbai Indians were reeling in the opening encounter at Eden Gardens. However, an unbeaten partnership of 131 between skipper Rohit Sharma and Corey Anderson deflated Gautam Gambhir's men to post a competitive 168/3. While Sharma was unbeaten on 98, Anderson smashed his way to a 41-ball 55.
